Returning to Michigan

Back on the Michigan side, we stopped at one of my favorite Lake Michigan beaches along US 2 just west of St. Ignace.

Strange Skies Surround the Bridge

Driving up to the toll booth, we encountered a strange sight. Fog encased the bridge ramp.

What was that toll for? Spooky.

The bridge towers finally appeared, after we had driven through the fog layer.
