Back on the Michigan side, we stopped at one of my favorite Lake Michigan beaches along US 2 just west of St. Ignace.
Our young people have certainly grown since we last walked this beach 3 years ago!
Since we couldn’t fit that Sheboygan boulder in the car, this souvenir must suffice for Grandma.
And finally back across the Mackinac Bridge after a week of Wisconsin adventures.

Driving up to the toll booth, we encountered a strange sight. Fog encased the bridge ramp.
What was that toll for? Spooky.
The bridge towers finally appeared, after we had driven through the fog layer.
Clear skies near the towers!
Peering over the railing, it almost looked like we were flying in an airplane above the clouds.
The Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse was barely visible.
