Our 2013-2014 school year began with our customary Virgil’s Root Beer treat.
It’s shocking to realize that both my students are now high schoolers.
Rebecca is beginning 9th grade…
and Christian is in 10th.
In fact, this is our 9th year of home education. Where has the time gone?
Although Golden is NOT a high schooler, he refused to be left out of the photo shoot.
Rebecca requested that we celebrate the end of our 2012-2013 school year the same way we marked its beginning—with a root beer treat.
Rebecca – moving on to 9th grade
Golden – still in preschool
Christian – on to 10th grade
By the way, this Virgil’s Root Beer is all natural and Feingold-approved, and it’s delicious!
It didn’t help that Terry stood behind me while I was attempting to photograph these unruly students. I have no idea what he was doing, but the rest of the family found it hilarious enough.
Just for fun, here’s a flashback to the last day of school pic from May 2007. What a difference 6 years makes!
Dad earns money for groceries.
Christian smashes bananas.
Rebecca prepares muffin batter.
Mom pours and bakes.
We all eat.
