Earlier in the day, our 7th-place ranking in qualifying matches secured a spot in the quarterfinal round. Our students strategized with alliance partners and fought hard, but were unable to advance further.
We’re proud, though, that we’ve moved up in rankings beyond our rookie-year places of 11th & 14th.
Team 4819 also accepted an unofficial Best Design Award granted by fellow Team 1506, Metal Muscle (sponsored in part by Kettering University).
What an exhausting weekend! The team took a few days off to recuperate, but they’ve resumed meeting in preparation for the next competition weekend.
