Our Cade’s Cove automobile tour was nearly done when Rebecca captured these black blurs. A park ranger was impatiently waving vehicles through the area, so Terry couldn’t even slow the car enough for a proper photograph.

We think we saw 2 bear cubs clinging to trees. Here is a zoomed and cropped portion of Rebecca’s earlier photo.

If you ever visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, set aside at least a few hours for the Cade’s Cove automobile loop. It was well worth our time.
