God’s red rocks 4

This post features our hike along the Siamese Twins Trail:

Easy, 1 mile roundtrip, with less than a 150 ft. rise.

There is a unique view of Pike’s Peak through the natural window of the Twins.

Partway up the trail, we peered down to the parking lot.  The Kia Sedona we parked was wayyyyy down there.

Perhaps this is an “easy” trail for people who are accustomed to hiking at 6440 feet above sea level. For us Michiganders, who are often surprised to find rolling hills, whose house rests at 830 feet, this was slightly challenging.

We were told that Pike’s Peak could be seen through the natural window.

Just use your imagination.

The gorgeous vistas were worth our huffing and puffing.

Yes, I bet you were huffing and puffing by the time you got to the top! Wow! Gorgeous views, even without seeing Pikes Peak. Isn’t God’s handiwork incredible?!

You’re right about God’s incredible handiwork, Kristine! It’s so sad that many people pass it off as a random happening.
