We visited the Palace…

of Auburn Hills to witness the Detroit Pistons’ home opener!

Christian and Rebecca’s 1st live NBA game was commemorated with the purchase of Pistons’ basketballs 🙂

Dramatic pyrotechnics highlighted the introduction of our starting players.  Such heat and explosive sound!

Big Ben Wallace swatted the tip-off.

BTW, did you know that free/discounted Pistons’ tickets are available near your birthday?  [And now you know how we could afford these seats!]

Rodney Stuckey earned 21 points and Tayshaun Prince, 11, through the course of the game.  The Pistons led for most of the 1st half, but struggled during the remainder.

Just 1 of Ben Gordon’s 25 for the night.

Will Bynum (11) drove for a layup in the final seconds of the game.

A valiant effort, yet not enough in the end.

OKC 91, DET 83

Nevertheless, we enjoyed our night out!

P.S.  Thanks, Daddy, for

safely transporting us!
