International Space Station

Yes, that blob is the International Space Station.  Exciting, I know.  We were hoping to see the Space Shuttle Discovery preparing to dock, but it was a bit behind their anticipated schedule.  Perhaps tomorrow night?

You may visit SpaceWeather.com to learn when the ISS and/or Discovery might fly over your house.

Oh, now THAT is a cool picture. Wow! We’ve seen this once, several years ago–when someone knew where to look in the sky and when. Thanks for the link, maybe I’ll actually be able to figure it out AND remember to look at the right time…we have spring soccer starting, and that might give us an opportunity.
