Snapshots from a Day in Lansing

Because our Circuit is a robot inventor, we were compelled to visit the Robot Carnival. It’s a traveling exhibit at Lansing’s Impression 5.

After thoroughly investigating the robot exhibit, the children revisited familiar sections of the museum.  Somehow they never tire of these hands-on activities.

Then, supper at my favorite restaurant.  Can you guess?

We ate for free by redeeming 2 gift cards!  Many thanks to my sister ~ a Christmas gift.  And the other I received after helping my cousin with exam prep (thank you also)!

Thank you, Dad, for chauffeuring and patiently accompanying us throughout the day!

I can’t believe how EMPTY the place looks! Perfect timing, however you managed that!

Do you have any robot clubs around there? Our son was on a robot team a few years ago and they had a lot of fun. First they built the robot. Then, they had to prepare a course similar to one that was going to be used in that year’s competition. And, finally they had to prepare a research paper on the topic that year which was something to do with the medical field. Anyway. Their team did really well at the competition considering it was their first year.

That robot club sounds terrific, Cynthia. I haven’t seen anything similar around here:(
