Button adored her kindergarten teacher, Mrs. P. No, my name is not Mrs. P! Before we began homeschooling, Button attended public school for 1 1/2 years. Button has been irregularly corresponding with Mrs. P since then. On Monday morning, Button begged to write to Mrs. P. So, I allowed her to substitute this letter for her regularly-scheduled writing lesson. Button wrote and revised with determination. On Wednesday, she properly stamped and addressed the envelope. And on Wednesday evening, she dropped the completed missive in the mail box.
Did you notice Button’s lovely new dress? Aunt Nay found this apparently homemade dress at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. Thanks, Aunt Nay! And I wish I could thank the seamstress who created it, too!
