Dynamics of Fort Construction

Another snowstorm commenced this afternoon, and Circuit and Button began constructing forts with vastly different design properties. Circuit’s fort features uniform rectangular blocks from a mold.

Button’s fort is composed of handcrafted snowballs.

Shortly after these photographs were taken, several intense battles ignited. A peacekeeping squadron (Dad) was deployed to negotiate a ceasefire. I regret to report that those forts were largely destroyed. Due to the severe nature of the skirmish, and the ensuing nightfall, comprehensive damage reports are not yet available. At the time of printing, the superiority of snowblock or snowball fort construction remains undetermined.

In related news, snow is expected to continue through midday tomorrow. Stay tuned for a listing of closings and cancellations. Expedition Academy will remain on schedule no matter the weather. Gymnastics lessons may, however, be cancelled.

LOL about school staying on schedule… that is another nice (not for the kids) thing about homeschooling.
