At first glance, one would think that a memorial was placed in the field next to our house.
Circuit erected this marker to establish his private territory—a place where he can go without interference from his sibling. Hopefully, Papa (Circuit’s grandfather) won’t mind that it’s actually on his property!
Circuit’s marker was cleverly constructed—despite the fact that it looks like a memorial cross. The upright portion is a leftover piece of building material from the construction of our house. Circuit used a rubber band to attach the flag.
In his hand is the walkie-talkie we were hunting yesterday. Thankfully, it still works, although it spent the night in the grass.
