Cement Blocks and Rocks

During recess today, Mom discovered…

…that cement blocks and rocks make wonderful toys.

I am overjoyed to share this news: It will no longer be difficult to select birthday and Christmas gifts for our children!

One cement block per child. Only 98 cents each at Lowe’s!

One rock per child will be sufficient to begin. For free! You may collect some rocks from our yard if you’re lawn is sadly rockless.

You may disregard the inclusion of Nara (our cat), Kaya (American Girl doll), blankets, and wagon. Although Nara and Kaya participated in the rock rubbing demonstration today, they are not a “cement blocks and rocks as toys” requirement.

[During history lessons today, Circuit and Button read that Native Americans rubbed rocks to smooth and even sharpen them. I’m hoping that they’re satisfied with just smoothing rocks here, as I don’t really feel like driving to the ER today.]
