Menu for the week of 4.14.08

My attempt to be more consistent in proper meal planning:

Breakfast

cold cereal

muffins

oatmeal w/ applesauce

cinnamon rolls

Lunch

pbj

chicken pot pie

alphabet soup w/ saltines

Annie’s All Stars (like SpaghettiOs)

Annie’s Shells & White Cheddar

grilled perch, steamed rice

tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches

Supper

Pizza Hut pizza

pancakes w/ maple syrup

soft tacos w/ venison

grilled hot dogs or venison burgers

lunchmeat sandwiches, potato chips

chicken drumsticks

Lentil & Vegetable Soup w/ Dumplings

bacon and egg (in sandwiches if desired)

spaghetti with venison marinara sauce (from freezer), garlic butter rolls

Easy Chicken and Feta Bake, steamed rice, steamed broccoli

Available Fruit

watermelon, cantaloupe, apples, bananas, oranges, applesauce, peaches, pears, pineapple, tropical fruit

Available Vegetables

Romaine lettuce, tomato, carrots, celery, potatoes, green beans, broccoli, creamed corn

Desserts

strawberry shortcake w/ real whipped cream, snickerdoodle cookies, chocolate mocha pudding

Snacks (other than Fruit and Vegetables above)

Annie’s Sour Cream & Onion Cheddar Bunnies, Annie’s Chocolate Bunny Grahams, graham crackers, fig bars, rice cakes w/ cream cheese or peanut butter, animal crackers, Horizons Organic Yogurt Tubes

    Yummy, food plans. I’m trying very hard to be on a better diet by cutting out pop and eating more fruits instead of junk food. Yay for Bumpers cereal!
